Quillix, with a direct line to TallyPrime.

The same Quillix you use in the browser, in its own window on your computer, with the one thing a web page cannot do: talk to the TallyPrime running beside it. Vouchers go straight into Tally, and the chart of accounts comes straight out.

Everything the browser does, plus TallyPrime.

TallyPrime only answers programs on its own computer, and a web page cannot reach it in any browser. The Windows app can. Everything else is the same Quillix, the same login and the same data.

In a browser Quillix for Windows
Vouchers into Tally Download the XML, then import it into TallyPrime by hand, masters first. Send to Tally posts the masters, then the vouchers, straight into TallyPrime, in the right order. No file, no import.
Chart of accounts Export it from Tally and bring it across. Pull from Tally reads it straight out of TallyPrime. It only reads; nothing is written to the books.
Which company Type the Tally company name exactly. Pick it from Tally's own list, with a warning when it is not open.
Is Tally reachable? Cannot be checked from a browser. Checked on its own every time you come back to the window.
Updates Always the latest Quillix. Always the latest Quillix too. The window runs the live app, so there is nothing to reinstall.
Where it lives A browser tab among others. Its own window, on the taskbar and in the Start menu.
Getting started

Three steps, once per computer.

  1. 1 Subscribe to Basic

    The Windows app comes with the Basic plan, alongside everything else in it.

  2. 2 Install it where TallyPrime runs

    Tally only talks to programs on its own computer, so install Quillix on that machine and sign in as usual.

  3. 3 Switch on Tally's connector

    In TallyPrime: F1 › Settings › Connectivity › Client/Server configuration, set to Server on port 9000. Quillix finds it on its own.
