AI Tools
Capture without typing — and keep the judgement.
What the AI does, and what it does not
Every tool in this group proposes and shows its working; none of them decide. The OCR screens tint the fields the model was unsure about instead of hiding the doubt, and Notice Reply assembles a draft from figures computed locally — the AI reads the notice, never the numbers.
The whole group is auditor and associate only.
When a file fails
Both OCR screens share the same failure model. Each file carries its own status, and a failure names the stage it failed at — upload, storage read, OCR provider auth, provider unreachable, rate limit, provider error, empty response, parse error, or unknown.
-
Watch the per-file status as a run proceeds — Uploading first, then processing, then done or failed.
-
Open the file status list and read the stage on the failed file.
-
Most stages are transient — click Retry and it usually goes through.
-
Rate limit means slow down: wait half a minute, and use smaller batches on a big run.
-
Empty response usually means the scan itself is unreadable — replace it with a clearer one rather than retrying.
Read the scan while you check the extraction
On both OCR screens the original document sits beside the extracted fields, so you can check a figure against the page it came from without leaving the review.
-
Zoom the preview, or fit it to the width of the pane, to read small print.
-
Compare the money fields against the document before you accept them.
