Reports
Seven prepared views over the client's sales for a date range you choose — answered without exporting anything to Excel first. The whole group is admin and auditor only; a client's ordinary users never see it.
Set the period and pick a report
One date range drives every report on the page, and switching report keeps the range you already set.
-
Set From and To at the top.
-
Pick the report you want. The figures recompute immediately — nothing is fetched, so there is no waiting.
-
Export CSV or Export Excel to take the current report away as a file.
-
Click any column heading to sort by it, and click again to reverse the order.
Note
Dates on the underlying records can be stored in several formats, and Quillix normalises
them before comparing. That is why a report will not quietly drop rows that happen to be
written differently.
What the columns mean
The reports share a vocabulary, and choosing the wrong column is the easiest way to answer the wrong question.
- Taxable
- The GST-exclusive value. Read this when you are reconciling to the return — it is the figure GSTR-1 reports.
- CGST / SGST / IGST
- The tax split out of that taxable value.
- Total
- What the customer was billed. Read this when you are answering a question about turnover or cash.
- HSN Codes
- Counts the distinct codes in the period — a quick check on master-data sprawl.
