Load Client Data
The doorway from platform mode into a client's books — and the place to answer "which of my clients still is not filed this month" without opening a single one of them.
Open a client's books
Loads that client's data and switches Quillix into store mode for them — the whole sidebar becomes that client's pages and lands you on their Dashboard.
-
Find the client on the Client Overview tab. Search matches name, code or city.
-
Click Open Store on its tile and wait for the confirmation.
-
You are now working inside that client. Everything you do applies to them until you come back here and open a different one.
Leave a client and go back
While you are inside a client, the top bar shows an Auditor · Impersonating marker with an Exit control. That is how you get back to platform mode.
-
Look at the top bar — it names the client you are currently working inside.
-
Click Exit to leave that client and return to the platform view.
-
From there you can open a different client.
Refresh the client list
-
Click Refresh above the tiles.
-
Use it if you have just added a client in Manage Clients and it has not appeared here yet.
The GSTR-1 Status tracker
One row per client for the current filing period, showing its period, due date and countdown, invoice count, tax payable, filing status and the date it was filed.
-
Open the GSTR-1 Status tab. The figures are fetched the first time you open it, not when the page loads, so give it a moment.
-
Read the Due Date column — it is colour-coded per client: red when due or overdue, amber within 5 days, plain otherwise.
-
Quarterly clients carry a QRMP badge and are tracked on their own quarterly cycle with a 13th-of-the-month due date.
-
The footer totals the invoice count and tax payable across every client, and counts how many are filed versus pending.
Mark a client as Filed
Records that you have submitted that client's GSTR-1 on the portal — and locks that period's invoices in the client's own books.
-
Click Mark Filed on the client's row once the return is actually submitted on the GST portal.
-
The status turns to Filed and the date is stamped.
-
Click Reset to put it back to Pending if you marked it by mistake.
Which period is being tracked
Quillix picks the filing period for you and rolls it forward on its own once a due date passes. You never set it here.
-
For a monthly client, GSTR-1 for a month is due on the 11th of the next month. Up to and including the 11th, the period shown is still the previous month — because that return is what is actually due.
-
From the 12th onwards, the period rolls forward to the current month.
-
Quarterly clients follow their own quarterly ladder instead, with 13th-of-the-month due dates.
GST portal credentials
Keeps each client's GST portal username and password so you are not chasing them at filing time. The password is encrypted before it is stored and is only decrypted when you open this form. Auditors only.
-
Open the GST Credentials tab and click Add, or Edit on a client that already has one.
-
Enter the GST username or GSTIN and the portal password. Notes is free text — useful for things like which filing method, or where the DSC lives.
-
Save. The password shows as dots in the table from then on.
