Upload a GST or tax notice and get back what it actually asks for, which figures answer it, and a draft reply assembled from the client's own books. The reading and the planning are AI-assisted; the figures and the position are not.

What actually leaves the app
One AI call is made, and it sees the notice plus a generic menu of the kinds of data Quillix can supply. It never sees the client's financial data. Quillix then resolves those figures locally, from the client's books — the numbers themselves are never sent anywhere.

Upload a notice

Reads the notice and returns a structured summary — what it is, the period it covers, the deadline — plus a plan of what a reply needs to contain.

  1. Drop the notice onto the upload area, or click to choose it. PDF or an image works.
  2. Wait for the summary and the outline of the reply.
  3. Check the period and the Respond by date first — everything downstream is resolved against that period.
Fix the period first
If Quillix cannot work out the notice's period, the figures cannot be resolved from the books either. When rows come back unresolved, the period is the first thing to check — not the rows.

Start again on a notice

Two different restarts, for two different problems.

  1. Re-run on this file when the reading came back poor — a scan the model struggled with, or a summary that missed a demand.
  2. Upload a different file when you sent the wrong document, or have a clearer scan of the same notice.
Note
Re-running costs another AI call, so it is worth checking the summary against the notice first rather than re-running by reflex.

Fill in the data the reply needs

Quillix works out each figure the notice needs from the client's books, and marks the ones it cannot so you can supply them.

  1. Read down the data rows. Auto-filled rows carry the figure Quillix computed.
  2. Open one to see its breakdown and reasoning — you can audit the number rather than take it on trust.
  3. For rows marked as not in the books, enter the figure yourself and attach the supporting document.
  4. Keep going until it reports that all data is ready.
Why the draft is blocked
The draft stays blocked while required evidence is missing. That is deliberate — a reply that asserts a figure with nothing behind it is worse than a late one.

The reasoning trail on each row exists because the figures are computed here rather than produced by a model — which means they can be shown and checked.

Generate and export the draft

  1. Generate the draft reply once the data rows are complete.
  2. Edit it — it is a starting point, not a finished letter.
  3. Export to PDF or Word.
  4. Use Rebuild from data if you change figures and want the draft regenerated.
It will not take a position for you
The draft deliberately states facts and figures without asserting a legal position. Taking the position is the professional's job, and the tool will not do it for you.

Find a notice you worked on before

  1. Open History to reopen a previous notice and its draft.
  2. Delete a notice from here when it is finished with.
Private to you
Notice sessions are private to your own login. Other people in your firm cannot read them, even for the same client.
