Industry Benchmarks
What other firms charge, by client type, so you can see whether your own fees sit under, inside or above the market band. Reference data, plus your own averages plotted against it.
What the bar is showing
For each business type: the industry range as a band, the market average as a tick inside it, and — once you have logged fees for clients of that type — your own average as a dot.
-
Read the figures beside the sector name for the range and average, in rupees per year.
-
Find the amber dot to see where you actually sit. No dot means you have logged no fees for any client of that type in the selected year.
-
The chip beside the sector name states your average and colours it: green inside the range, amber below it, blue above.
Not every client type has its own row
This page lists eight sectors. Several of the business types you can pick when creating a client do not map to any of them.
-
Hardware Store, Pharmacy and Service / Professional each match a sector here directly.
-
Supermarket, Building Materials, General Store and Other do not — they are compared against a general trade band instead, which has no row on this page.
-
Kirana, Restaurant, Textile, Electronics and Manufacturing appear here as reference bands even though they are not options in the Business Type dropdown.
What these figures cover
Annual all-in fees for a mid-sized firm in Tamil Nadu and South India — monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, basic bookkeeping, and annual income-tax filing.
-
Compare like with like. If your engagement excludes bookkeeping, expect to sit below the band and be right to.
-
Change the FY dropdown at the top to compare a different year's fees against the same bands.
