Firm Health Report

Where Sidebar Firm Intelligence Firm Health Report

A view of your practice rather than your clients' compliance — whether the book of business is diversified, billed, collected and priced. Everything on this page is computed from what you record in the Billing Tracker.

First
A low score with several No Data dimensions is not a bad practice — it is an empty Billing Tracker. Fill that in first, then read the score. Nothing here is measured from your clients' books.
SCREENSHOT · the score ring with its Excellent / Good / Fair label, the five-dimension breakdown beside it, and the four headline figures below

Five dimensions, each capped, added together. The ring shows the total, and the label reads Excellent at 80 and above, Good from 65, Fair from 45, and Needs Attention below that.

  1. Client Diversity, up to 20 — how many distinct business types are in your active client list. Five different sectors scores full marks.
  2. Billing Coverage, up to 25 — the share of active clients you have actually collected a fee from this year.
  3. Fee Collection Rate, up to 25 — total collected divided by total billed.
  4. Market Pricing, up to 20 — how many of your logged fees fall inside the benchmark band for that client's business type.
  5. Active Client Base, up to 10 — ten or more active clients scores full marks, five scores 7, three scores 5.
Billed is not collected
Billing Coverage counts a client only once a fee has been collected from them, not merely billed. A year of invoices you have not been paid for leaves this dimension at zero — worth 25 of the 100.

Each dimension shows your current value, a progress bar, a status word, and the target it is being measured against.

  1. Read the status chip: Good means you are at 75% or more of that dimension, Fair from 50%, Needs Work below.
  2. Start Here and No Data mean the dimension has nothing to measure yet — log some billing and it will start scoring.
  3. The grey line under each bar is the target, so you can see what full marks would take.

Active Clients, Total Billed, Outstanding and Average Fee per Client, all for the selected year. The FY dropdown at the top right of the breakdown card offers the current year and the two before it.

  1. Outstanding is billed minus collected across the year — money you have invoiced and not received.
  2. Average Fee per Client divides total billed by your active client count, including clients you have not billed at all — so it reads low until coverage is complete.

Up to four prompts generated from your own numbers. Read them as prompts, not instructions — each one names the figure that triggered it, and they disappear once the condition no longer holds. There are six.

Low Health Score
The total is under 50. Billing coverage is usually the fastest thing to move.
High Outstanding
More than 30% of what you billed is uncollected.
Grow Your Portfolio
Fewer than five active clients, which leaves the practice exposed to losing one.
Start Tracking
No billing records at all for the selected year — that single gap is what is suppressing most of the score.
Underbilling Detected
Your average fee is below the ₹15,000 market floor.
Strong Collections
More than 90% of billed fees collected. This one is a good sign, not a warning.
Note
Score 80 or above and an Excellent Standing note appears alongside them.
