Billing Tracker
Your own fees, per client and per period. Nothing else in Quillix records what you charge, and every figure on the Firm Health Report and Industry Benchmarks is computed from what you enter here.
Log a fee
Records what you billed a client for a period and how much of it you have been paid. Both halves matter — the collected figure is what drives most of the health score.
-
Click Log Billing at the top, or + Add Entry on a specific client's row to start with that client selected.
-
Choose the client and the period — quarters or Annual, within the selected financial year.
-
Pick the Service Type: Full Service, GST Filing, Accounting, IT Return, Audit, Advisory or Other.
-
Enter Fee Billed. Enter Fee Collected too, or leave it at zero if you have not been paid yet.
-
Add a note if it needs context, then Save.
Correct or remove an entry
Every logged entry appears as a chip on its client's row, showing the period, service type, and the billed and collected amounts.
-
Click the pencil on a chip to edit it and change any field.
-
Click the cross to delete it. Quillix asks you to confirm, and the deletion cannot be undone.
What each client row tells you
For the selected year: total billed, total collected, what is still outstanding, and how your fee compares to the market range for that client's business type.
-
Outstanding is billed minus collected — chase anything sitting in amber.
-
Market Range reads Not Logged when there is nothing recorded, Underbilled below the range, Market Rate inside it, or Premium above it.
-
Switch the FY dropdown at the top to look at a different year.
